Practice Post

As soon as possible, do a first practice post-no, this doesn't count toward the "big four" posts per book-we're just doing a test to make sure you can post successfully. Tell me a little about yourself-your interests, extracurricular activities, of course, your favorite book of all time, and anything else you'd like to share.

      Hi Kyla,
      All the posts are now up for the first book--You can reply to any of the posts to discuss Angelou's or Hurston's book. Replying to classmates also counts as a post as long as there is length and depth to the reply (a minimum of one fully developed paragraph). Hope that helps!

      I need to read that book! I loved Speak and some of her others. Just read The Impossible Knife of Memory about PTSD--really good!

      Just realized I also love E. Lockhart but haven't read that one. Have you read We Were Liars & The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks? Those are really good, too--great summer books!

    Hello, I'm Eric. I'm a member of the Bedford Express robotics team. I'd have a hard time picking a book as my favorite, as I like quite a few, but the last book that I read and enjoyed is "A Call to Duty" by David Weber and Timothy Zahn, a more recent sci-fi novel.

    I'm Brooke Brown and I play piano and take taekwondo. I volunteer at Aspen Grove Assisted Living and Hospice of Northwest Ohio. My favorite books consist of The Perks of Being Wallflower and basically anything by Jodi Picoult. I was so glad that I got to meet you at the poetry reading yesterday and I'm excited to have you as a teacher!

    Greetings, I am Brammer Brakel. I enjoy volunteering at the Sylvania Branch Library and various church camps. Furthermore, I play oboe in the Bedford High School Symphonic Band and Toledo Youth Orchestra. I am also part of the Toledo Blades Fencing Club. My favorite books are "The Story of King Arthur and His Knights" and "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" by Howard Pyle.
